About Mick Needham
Since Mick's beginnings in school, he has excelled in the arts and has recieved numerous City, County and State Fair Awards. He began the better part of his education when he studied at Chaffey Community College, and continued upon transferring to CSCSB while employed as Arts and Crafts Director for the San Bernardino Boys Club. Mick completed college at CSULB, while he worked directly with a large art and engineering supply store. After his education in 1970 he moved to Northern California and opened Needham Stained Glass Studios in the Historic Downtown Chico. Mick developed and implemented the stained glass program at Butte-Glenn Community College in 1976 and is still a faculty member to this very day. Past commissions range from Tiffany-Style lamp installations at the prestigious National Arts Club in Manhattan, where Mr. Needham was hosted by the club as a guest lecturer, to stained glass window, archway and skylight installations for the world-famous, award winning Sierra Nevada Brewery and Taproom.
